Kristina Kmitienė is a Lithuanian artist and educator recognized for her diverse contributions to both the arts and academic spheres. She completed her studies at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, one of the most esteemed institutions in Lithuania. In addition to producing visual art, Kristina writes for "Raktas" magazine, where she provides articles and reflections on art as well as personal development. Serving as a lecturer at St. Ignatius Loyola College in Kaunas, she leads courses that connect the disciplines of image design and beauty therapy, guiding students who wish to blend these areas in their future careers.

Alongside her teaching duties, Kristina took on a vital role during the 2022 LAMA BPO entrance examinations for college-level art programs by acting as a member of the evaluation committee. Her participation underscores her professional authority and demonstrates the confidence placed in her assessments regarding aspiring art students. Through these positions, she plays an active part in shaping Lithuanian art education and encourages emerging artistic talent.

Kristina Kmitienė’s artistic methods are shaped by her enduring engagement with psychology, psychotherapy, and spiritual literature. She has pursued informal studies in these areas for over ten years, which has significantly influenced the subjects she addresses in her artwork. Her creative investigations delve into human existence and explore how art can serve as a means of understanding life, often addressing complex emotional states and existential dilemmas.

Kristina frequently uses ornamental motifs within her artwork to represent obsessive thoughts—endlessly repeating patterns that can dominate self-awareness. She views womanhood as being closely connected to self-discovery, emotional equilibrium, and the mindful observation of one’s inner state. Through her creations, Kristina encourages audiences to engage with these nuanced emotional and psychological issues, forging a connection between deep personal reflection and artistic expression.
